A company specialised in the complexities of integrated on-board systems, with high barriers to entry thanks to its stringent Hygiene and Safety standards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"date\">2017<\/h4>\n<div class=\"flex_10 event-text\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.somecgruppo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/2017.png\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">Somec takes over Inoxtrend and creates Hysea<\/h4>\n<p>The competence and specialisation of suppliers such as SOMEC is growing. The continuous search for opportunities leads to the acquisition of Inoxtrend, a Veneto-based company operating in the field of professional cooking equipment. The Hysea Marine Public Areas startup is created.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"date\">2018<\/h4>\n<div class=\"flex_10 event-text\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.somecgruppo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/2018.png\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">Listing on the stock exchange and new acquisitions<\/h4>\n<p>In May, Somec is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange AIM, classified as an engineering company. Acquisition of Fabbrica LLC, a leader in the field of engineered building facades. Alberto De Gobbi and Claudio Daniele, two people from Treviso who have been in the US for 25 years, join the group and SOMEC returns to its original business with one of the most promising opportunities in the US. Primax, a blast chiller company based in Veneto district of Professional Cooking Equipment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"date\">2019<\/h4>\n<div class=\"flex_10 event-text\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.somecgruppo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/2019.png\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">Somec takes over TSI and completes the Seascape strategy<\/h4>\n<p>TSI Total Solution Interiors of Cant\u00f9 is acquired. The company specialises in the design, production and installation of interior furnishings for public areas on board cruise ships. This completes the execution of the Seascape strategy started with Oxin and Hysea.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"date\">2020<\/h4>\n<div class=\"flex_10 event-text\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.somecgruppo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/2020.png\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">The group expands and consolidates its central position<\/h4>\n<p>The lockdown is an opportunity for management to consolidate the group\u2019s centralisation for certain functions and to improve the business synergy between segments. The following were acquired during the year: Pizza Group, to integrate the offer of cooking systems with specific oven hardware;  Skillmax, to acquire know-how in the creation of interiors; GICO Grandi Impianti Cucine, to add to its expertise in ship cooking equipment systems. Fabbrica Works is also set-up, a production base for glass roofing systems for the European market.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"date\">2021<\/h4>\n<div class=\"flex_10 event-text\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.somecgruppo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/2021.png\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">Somec launches a new group identity and the industrial plan 2021-25<\/h4>\n<p>The Board of Directors approves the purchase of a majority share in Bluesteel, a company specialising in engineered systems for fa\u00e7ades, and window and door systems, and finalizes the purchase of 100% share of various subsidiaries (Primax srl, Inoxtrend srl and Hysea srl). New communication and identity strategies are formed and published to raise the SOMEC Group&#8217;s new profile. SOMEC Group obtains ESG (Environmental, Social &amp; Governance) rating.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"date\">2022<\/h4>\n<div class=\"flex_10 event-text\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.somecgruppo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/2022.png\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">Development of Mestieri and the american market<\/h4>\n<p>SOMEC established the new company Mestieri srl dedicated to the high-end bespoke interior design and creation. It strengthened its presence in the United States by creating Pizza Group USA LLC and Mestieri USA INC, American subsidiaries of the Group&#8217;s Italian companies. With the aim of expanding Mestieri&#8217;s divisions operating perimeter, the Group finalized the acquisition of majority shares in Budri srl and Lamp Arredo srl.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"date\">2023<\/h4>\n<div class=\"flex_10 event-text\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.somecgruppo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/ceolin.jpg\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">The business and geographic diversification strategy continues<\/h4>\n<p>Somec acquires Gino Ceolin Srl company, through its direct subsidiary Mestieri. The Group exceeds the threshold of 1000 collaborators. The \u201cEngineered systems of naval architecture and building fa\u00e7ades\u201d and the \u201cProfessional kitchen systems and products\u201d business units are named Horizons and Talenta respectively.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"date\">2024<\/h4>\n<div class=\"flex_10 event-text\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.somecgruppo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Progetto-senza-titolo-3.png\">\n<h4 class=\"title\">The group towards the suistainable growth<\/h4>\n<p>Somec is a protagonist in the growth of the new cruise ship business with a significant number of new orders. Efficiency projects involving the production process are launched in the manufacturing area.
